1:33 pm.
Daniel Radcliffe is friggin' cute! I'm watching Oprah on Star World--of course it's an old episode, because it was before
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was shown. Gahd! He's a cutie!Ü I love his accent too.Hmm, is he British or
English, or is that just the same? Haaay, guapo. Ha, some girl sent in a video saying how much she loved Daniel and after the
video was shown Daniel was just all smiles. Omigod. I just realized he kinda looks like...someone. Ü I love the accent!
Anyway, I'm going to try to make a new layout later, so I can upload it tomorrow. How about the year in review?
January: Hmm. Oh, we had our prom at the Makati Shangri-La. Go figure why we had it so early, when our school usually
schedules it around Valentine's Day. I remember not wanting to go, but I ended up going anyway cos I already paid for it. Gack.
I ended up having a crappy time. :\ I sort of forgot all about having a crappy time at the prom because I got busy with our
class film.
I'll continue this later, we're going out.
6:33 pm.
Whoa. I turned the TV on to see the last few minutes of The Fellowship of the Ring. I can't believe they're showing it on MM already. Now it's Moulin Rouge
on Star Movies.Ü I just came back from Town with my brothers and my grandma. She called earlier, and we went off to BF to buy some goodies from Dates Cafe (yum!) and
then went off to Town. We didn't know the mall was closing at 6, so we didn't get to do much. Oh well, I'll be there tomorrow. We got a copy of Lilo & Stitch though.
I was looking for the Norah Jones CD but they didn't seem to have it in Tower Records. Ngerk. So to continue the year in review:
June: Trying to get used to college life--photocopying stuff, studying, commuting, eating. Ü Went to Miko's debut and was able to see old friends. July: The month Kat left for Canada :\ We had a despedida party for her, mostly just the girls and their boyfriends. Eep, I was alone! Wahahaha. Was busy with school stuff, like midterms and the video we made for FILIPI. Frosh elections in school and all the issues that came with it. Hehe! Ü Watched the NU 107 pocket concert in Alabang which featured Rayyn and Cynthia Alexander. She was amazing. August: More school stuff. Did a lot of projects, as well as a video for our final project/presentation for ARTAPRE. Our hard work paid off cos we got a 4.0 for it.Ü Most finals were submitted during the last 2 weeks of the month. Managed to catch films from Cinemanila as well. September: Went to the beach again with my fellow beach bums (minus the ones from Ateneo and UP) during the trimestral break. Few more debuts, including a surprise one for a guy! Hehe. Ü Game 1 and 2 of the UAAP Men's Basketball Finals. Sweet. The 2nd term began and we had more difficult classes--including Algeb! Eep. October: The Archers lost to the Eagles :\ It was a sad night for us. The birth of the rampa girls Ü Hahaha! So many memories to list, basta it was really FUN. Managed to watch Oro, Plata, Mata for POLIGOV. Midterms! eek! November: A busy, busy month. We had so many things to do, but had loads of fun as well. Went out a lot with Kirsten and Chel. Makati girl na yata ako? Ü Went to Subic for ANTHROP. December: I turned eighteen.Ü Celebrated it with close friends--went out, even if I was sick on my birthday. Ngerk! Loads of fun. Study to death for finals. We had two finals a day. Course cards a week later--I failed Algebra. Haaay. Christmas. Baguio.
I suppose my year in review wasn't entirely detailed, but those were highlights, and I do have my planner and paper journal to help me remember other events.
8:13 pm.
Last night I watched Maid in Manhattan and Two Weeks' Notice. I finished watching the films at around 2am. I got this weird feeling as soon as I turned the
player and the TV off, I just sat there. I actually felt scared. Scared that I would grow up and be all Sandra Bullock-ish or J.Lo-ish as a kickbutt independent woman
with a nice job, a decent apartment but without the Hugh Grant or the Ralph Fiennes to whisk me into my magical movie moment. It may sound pretty stupid and corny, but
I just want my moment.

9:05 pm.
Since I'm in a hurry because I've a bowl of pistachio ice cream and some new (pirated) DVDs waiting for me downstairs, I'll make this quick.
1. Spent the weekend in Baguio, although our trip was cut short. We're supposed to go home tomorrow pa, but due to some circumstances we went home this morning. (Note:If you read my LJ it's there.Ü) 2. I got a star-shaped watch early this evening. Ish cute! I got it from one of those bazaar thingies, so it's pretty cheap. I know it won't be as sturdy as my normal watch, but it's cute. 3. I want a DVD player! The one I'm using now is the one in my grandma's house. I've to return it on January 1st. Hehe. Ü I hope my Dad gets one soon---I think he's just waiting until there are a LOT of players in the market, so prices will go down and there are more choices. 4. The Ateneo Blue Eagles left for the US last December 25, right? They got $300 pocket money each from alumni and they watched the Lakers vs. Raptors game! Yargh, I'm jealous! Now I wish I were...Wesley Gonzales?! Hahahahaha.
Proper blog tomorrow. Promise.Ü

2:39 am.
We leave for Baguio in an hour, or an hour and a half.Ü Whee!I haven't even packed yet. Yikes. I had a busy Friday. It was my Dad's birthday and he had a golf game,
so when he got back we went to Makati. We got my check from Prudential first, cos I've to enroll for the 3rd term next week, then we went straight to Greenbelt. Nice.
We went to Nike Park first so we could get our Dad his gift. Ha, we paid for his shoes. Kulit nga, cos he doesn't buy new shoes as often as my Mom and I do, so he
kept asking if we were really paying. Hhaha. Kulit! We looked at stuff in Hobbes, decided we have a few more puzzles at home to work on, then went to Sketchbooks.
The books were a tad bit overpriced, but I got some pretty notebooks.Ü I love notebooks, especially ones with blank pages. I got a nice Jordi Labanda one, and I got
a small Jordi notebook with a hologram cover for my assignments next term. Hehe. I hope it'll keep me interested in my homework. Ü We ate, went to Glorietta for a bit,
then went home.
We actually came from the hospital, because Meego had another ear pain. We brought him to the ER and I held him while the doctor checked his ears. Good thing it was nothing too serious.Ü It always a pain to see my brother in pain cos he's still a baby! Ha. he's four but he's our baby.
Hmm, Baguio. I'm excited. The last time I was there was back in April of this year, I think. Ü Oh man, I forgot about the pistachio ice cream we bought earlier!

2:31 pm.
I just got out of the shower. Ü Sarap ng feeling. I used the exfoliating scrub I got for my birthday which smells like strawberries. Ha, I felt like I was dipping myself
in strawberries instead of taking a shower. My Mom made me take out photos from old photo albums and transfer them into new albums. I got bored.
I wonder where we will eat tomorrow for my Dad's birthday. Yum yum.
Wednesday. December 25, 2002
10:22 pm.
I certainly had fun today. Ü Instead of going to the yearly "reunion" at my grandma's house at noon, we left the house earlier and went off to visit my second cousins
(Dad's side). Unfortunately most of them just left when we got to their house, so we just ate and left. Off we went to my grandma's house and as usual most of the relatives
were there. Ate again (ooh, I just love food.) and then just hung around. At around 4, the "young ones" started getting ready for our usual "gimmick". We usually go out on
Christmas Day and New Year cos those are the only times we're really sort of complete. We went to Town, and we were supposed to watch Mano Po or Agimat but
then we were late and the next screenings were at 7:20 and 6:30, respectively. We couldn't stay too late cos some relatives lived in Quezon City and beyond. Ngerk.
We just ate, got pictures taken and then planned to go out earlier on New Year's.
Jaro and I got Meego a gift. It was supposed to be a copy of Lilo and Stitch since the original version is out, but we splurged a bit and got him something a bit bigger. I'll probably get him the Lilo and Stitch video tomorrow. Hehe.Ü I think we're going to push through with my plan of getting our Dad a pair of Nikes--for Christmas and his birthday (which is on Friday). I'll make a certificate or something saying he's entitled to a pair of shoes from Nike Park. Ü I still can't think of a gift for my Mom, I forgot the title of the book she wanted from Powerbooks. Ack. I'll go to Makati on Friday nalang. I know it's kinda late to be getting them gifts--after Christmas, but then I've been somewhat low on funds, so I couldn't get them anything. I'd make something but I had no idea what to make as well. *shrugs* This Christmas hasn't exactly been the best but it was still fun. Ü Baguio this weekend, I can't wait! Oh, and I've a copy of the entire Season 5 of Sex and the City, all 8 episodes. Yayness. Ü Candy! Mishu twin. Lemme know how I can text your or something. Did you change your e-mail addy?
I Love You, I Love You Not is on cable. I'm waiting for Sleepless in Seattle. This break has been great, everyday I get to watch a nice movie or two on cable. Ü

10:53 pm.
Well, I'm home cos everyone's too tired to hear Mass tonight. Tomorrow morning na lang daw. Ü Okay.
I changed my mind, I want the Nokia 6610 instead of the Nokia 6100. The only difference? The 6610 has an FM radio. Ang kulit!
We got the Nokia Camera Headset today, so I've been snapping away happily. Ü Ish fun.
A few days ago I caught She's All That on cable. It was my fave way back Sophomore year, and along with a bunch of classmates we'd recite lines from the movie. *laughs* Funny, really, cos I found myself mumbling the lines as the movie played. Then today after It's A Wonderful Life I saw Never Been Kissed. Yesterday was Here on Earth, and I think a few days ago I also saw 10 Things I Hate About You. Gahd. I know there was a plethora of teen movies a couple of years back--some were heinous, some were okay and some were great, but when I thought about it, those movies are like the Sixteen Candles, Say Anything, Breakfast Club... of our generation. They may not be as perfect, but then they provide even the smallest bit of entertainment. Really. I mean, I may always think that the whole story of Laney Boggs being transformed into a pretty prom queen candidate will rarely happen in real life, but it gives people a chance to dream, right? And perhaps there's a Kat Statford in some us, or maybe most would be able to relate to Josie Geller? One way or another, these teen flicks somehow touch you. Okay, I so do not want to spend Christmas Eve watching Kylie Minogue on HBO. Well, my Mom is making me wrap some gifts for my cousins. Hmm, Harry Potter movie bloopers and Book Mistakes eh?
Huge shout outs go to Mikko and Jen for the "gifts" they sent.
I'd post them, but my FTP is kinda slow. I'll try to post them later. Ü
Thursday. December 19, 2002
11:44 pm.
GACK! My Dad got the Nokia 6100 instead of the 7210, but then I don't think he's giving it to me. Pfft. Either he gives it to me and continues using his 6510, or
I get the 6510 and he uses the 6100. Argh! I'm super in lust with that phone, I want it badly. I was fiddling with it earlier, and I forced myself to give it
to my Dad. I haven't "begged" yet. I want it!
I went to school today for the Saliksik make-up. We missed our own Saliksik, which is this one day prayer recollection for frosh. We were part of a mixed group, meaning all of us present today missed our own block's recollection. It wasn't so bad because I did meet some new people, but I still would've preferred to sleep in. My dad dropped me off in Starbucks at around 6:45, and I waited for Kirsten while reading The Ringmaster's Daughter. Anyway, going back to the recollection, some parts were fine and others were boring, but I didn't really like the homily of the priest. It was like he kept emphasizing that we should value each day cos what if something happens tonight or tomorrow? Hmpf. Besides, this is like my 15th recollection/retreat since the 6th grade so it's kinda gasgas for me. Stayed around a bit after the whole thing, then went home. Woohoo, The Amazing Race is over.
Course Card Distribution tomorrow, and I'm sort of worried. *crosses fingers*
Tuesday. December 17, 2002
9:44 pm.
Gack, I just turned the TV on to see Dawson's Creek, it's the episode where Dawson leaves the house and his Dad tells him he's disappointed, but told him to never forget he
loves him...then he dies in a car accident. Pffft. I'm just waiting for Smallville! I think we're going to Ruins in BF, but I don't know what time we're leaving. I think that
place is open only until 10 or maybe even 12?
I'm so tired! I went with Meego to his field trip today, and we had to be in his school by 7am. Anyway we left, and then arrived in the CCP Main Theater at around 9am. We were
going to watch Ballet Philippines' Cinderella. At around 9:30 they started letting people in and turns out our seats were in the Orchestra section. The show began with a narration
by Angel Jacob, and then the music began. It was so irritating cos aside from students from my brother's school (mostly preschoolers), there were kids from CSA (who were about six or seven
years old) and older students from San Sebastian College. (Angel announced the names of the 3 schools) The older students occuppied seats on the Upper Box (? I have no idea, basta not
the balcony seats) and they kept hooting and cheering throughout most of the show. Also, while Angel was in the middle of her narration, the older students would keep calling out "Snow white,
snow white!" Angel's narration consisted a few questions thrown to the crowd--because they were mostly kids. Ugh. It was annoying. Perhaps they should've been reminded of theater rules before
they went off to their field trip. They also laughed loudly when the first few guys started dancing onstage. Keep in mind that male ballet dancers also wear those tights?
After the show we went to Manila Zoo. Seriously, I don't remember the last time I was there. I do recall my last trip to Malabon Zoo--which seems to be the better zoo. Meego played and then we checked out the Kinder Zoo where we had our picture taken with some parrots and a snake. There was even an ostrich, but there were a bunch of girls around it so Meego and I just went back to the bus. Haay we were so tired after! Meego slept as soon as we got in the van upon arrival in school and didn't wake up until 7pm. I took a nap too, but a shorter one at that.
Meego's teacher was my first teacher ever. She kept calling me Yam-Yam. Ü Hahaha. Well, Smallville's on, and I think we're going to Ruins?
12:16 am.
Finally, I was able to upload this entry!Ü Anyway, my 18th birthday was fun, although I was kinda sick.
Ngurk! My friends were there to celebrate with me. The pic to the right was taken on Saturday morning, before we left the hotel. Picture galore! Ü The thing on my head
says Happy Birthday. I got it from Toy Kingdom when I got my giveaways--bubbles. Isn't it funky? I should've gotten one for everyone since there were different colors. *laughs*
Parang bata! There are two more pics on the random shots part (to the left of this blog)
I finally filled up that Powerbooks Track Card and now I'm just waiting for my discount card. Woohoo! Spending at least Php200 in Powerbooks each week finally got me my discount card. Special thanks to my Dad also, cos he spent a LOT last Sunday for his stuff, which helped fill up the card. Ü My Dad also gave me a 128mb Flash Memory card for my mp3 player, so I'm pretty happy with it. Really, the iPod can wait. My barkada gave me a Powerbooks gift certificate, which I spent last Sunday. I had to add money nga lang cos the stuff I bought was way over Php500. Hmmm. I'll probably put up the pictures later. Stupid me didn't get to use my beloved digicam (irritating, I hate it) cos Meego hid it on the morning of my birthday. Pfft. My Dad brought his other digicam but I didn't really know how to use it, so I ended up just getting normal pics with my Advantix-capable camera. *shrugs* I'll just put details of my birthday here tomorrow.I need to sleep, I'm going with Meego tomorrow--their fieldtrip. Try clicking here--I'll post my birthday pics.

9:57 pm.
Whee finals are over! Well I shouldn't be rejoicing cos I think I'd have to take ALGE101 again. Pfft.
Rundown of this whole week? Monday- went to school to pass our POLIGOV paper, my praxis, and my ENGLART paper. I was late for the last POLIGOV class, but after we just submitted our papers. Someone suggested we go watch a movie so we ended up in Glorietta. We were late for the first screening so we saw the 1:50 pm screening of Ring 1. My gahd! The first part is dragging but it was so scary towards the end. Of course, I have my overactive imagination to thank, but maybe half of the people in the theater were shrieking at the scary parts. Ha. Window shopped for potential birthday outfits. Went back to school cos Kirsten had to give something to Anna, and then Lana and I took the bus home. Tuesday - didn't have 8am Algeb anymore so I went to school late for Anthrop. Didn't do anything. Practiced for our PE final until 3:30 pm, I think. We were all irritated and nervous cos we didn't have a stellar dance, but we managed to get a 3.5 Or I don't know. Group grades weren't given but our final grades were. 3.5 Hmm, not so bad. I got a 2.0 for the waltz kasi. Pfft. She said we were off-timing so we got 2.0 Ngurk. Stayed a bit in z2 to catch up with Chel and get cold drinks since La Casita was closed due to the CLA Christmas Party. When I got home I tried to study for the Physics final--Lab and Lecture. Studied the tests and chapter summaries for Lecture. Wednesday - raced to school for Physics final. Good thing I studied the tests cos the last part of the final was composed of questions from our last long exam. Woohoo! I passed the final cos our prof checked it already when we went to see her after our Lab test. Lab was okay, not as bad as I expected. Thank God for multiple choice questions! I took the bus home, and on the way Mom told me to meet her in Southmall so I went there. Hmm. Got some stuff for my birthday, including a kiddie furry birthday hat. *laughs* Tried to study for POLIGOV and ALGE101 but it seemed like my body and brain were rejecting my attempts to study! I'd read and then I'd slowly fall back. *laughs* Today-I hope I pass Algeb. I made my long essay answer in POLIGOV baboy so I hope he gives partial points. I was late for the Algeb test cos we encountered traffic along Baclaran. Grrr. My Dad had to turn back. I did have an hour and a half left to answer the exam, so *crosses fingers* Hahaha. I saw all three crushes today Ü Hap-hap-happy. Something not be so happy about? I think only Miko will be able to go tomorrow--out of the 4 others in my barkada who are still in Manila. Okay. I wish all of them could go--I mean, I do want to see them naman. Anyway we went to G4 again, and I was supposed to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The rest of my friends wanted to see Ring (well, Kirsten saw it already but she wanted to watch Ring again). Eep. They saw the 2:30 screening and I was supposed to watch the movie I wanted to see alone at 3:45, but then I didn't have the guts to watch alone. Hmph. I wanna see it! I ended up going all over Glorietta in search of a top for tomorrow, but I couldn't find anything nice. Kainis! Met up with friends again after the movie, and we went around and ended up back in Rustan's. Had my pants altered--will pick them up tomorrow, and got two tops. I bought two kinds and I'll let my Mom pick. I'll wear the nicer one and return the other tomorrow in exchange for PJs! Ü I love jammies.
So now I'm here again in the office, waiting for my Dad. They took out their foreign visitor--the one who can eat a whole crispy pata! Hahaha. I'm spending my last few hours of being seventeen here in Makati.
*laughs* Tomorrow i'll be in Makati again. Oh well. Ü I'm getting thirsty, so I'll go down and get something from Starbucks.
Sunday. December 8, 2002
11:09 pm.
I was getting ready for church when I saw a missed call on my cellphone. It was Candy so I asked her why, and then it turned out she was leaving today! Gah!
I didn't know she was leaving TODAY! Naiyak talaga ako for some reason. One of my closest friends in the world is moving away--or rather has moved away-- tapos I find out on the day itself?
*sighs* We haven't seen each other much since college started and I really, really miss her! Ha, tapos she left. Hay Kendz, you didn't even stay for my birthday. Promise, I had this sad look on my face lang
the whole time. Well, she said she'll be back next Christmas, but still. People are leaving, geez. Anyway I put up our picture (see:left). That was taken during our class retreat during senior year. Candy if you're reading this
I didn't want to post our pic with me in the butterfly cap, I look ugly there! HOY! We didn't even get a chance to wear the black and white butterfly caps in Taft! Wahaha. I'll have to wait pa until next year. Anubaaaaa,
Candy! Look what's happening to me! (Wait I forgot to resize the pic..it looks BIG?)
I'm rewriting the conclusion for my ENGLART paper, while waiting for Chel's e-mail. She hasn't e-mailed her part in the POLIGOV paper and I'm getting sleepy. I looked over at what i wrote and it was crappy.
*sighs* Maybe I'll type more Candy & Yam stuff? I think we officially became friends in 7th grade. Bonded by our Backstreet Boys fanaticism (Frick and Frack, my goodness!Ü) and our "chapters". *laughs* Oh, and our crush on this
particular guy--he who shall not be named--*laughs* That guy. He couldn't argue with us if we were together, we made him asar talaga. Then we were classmates again in Junior and Senior year. Man, super fun. She was the
one I always ran to whenever I felt out of place with my barkada, my significant other (hehe! we kept kidding kami na lang), my lamon partner, fellow sarcastic, fellow workaholic...ang dami! Then
imagine this year we both end up liking guys with the same name. Well, she and the guy are together, me and my guy aren't. Hahaha. waboo, twinnie.
12:24 pm.
You know you're trying to get out of putting together a research paper when you log on and update your blog. You know you're trying your best not to think about finishing
that darn paper when you surf while updating the blog. Gah. I'm so bored. The only thing I'm grateful for is that we did most of the content this past term so I'm only doing minor
changes. Pfft. It's still boring though. I just want to finish it so we can go to church and then go to Town.
I finished reading the POLIGOV stuff. *yawns* I did a draft of my analysis last night so I'll fix that after this research paper thing. Ugh. I have to study pa for finals.
gAH! Both of my brothers are being so irritating! SHOOOO! I need to finish this before 5:45 pm.
Saturday. December 7, 2002
9:23 pm.
Third post for the day! Anyway, I finished reading the assigned stuff for POLIGOV, and now I just have to put my thoughts together so I can write my part
for the paper. I think we only have to do the analysis for the articles in the draft constitution we were assigned to read, but then there were two
parts we had to read as an introduction to the draft. It was so long! The articles I read were about the Judiciary and the States. Yeah, I better type
my analysis so I won't forget.
Earlier I could see fireworks from my bedroom window. I didn't know where it was coming from though. I called Meego and made him watch, cos we didn't go to Town to watch the fireworks display tonight. Impossible naman na the fireworks I saw was from Town cos our house isn't thisclose to the area, and it was already 7:30. Diba the fireworks display in Town and Glorietta is at 7pm? Anyway tomorrow we're going to Town for dinner and of course, the fireworks display. I want a caramel frap + a new journal + new magazines. Heh. Ü I got food earlier, yay. My brother got us something from another cafe and he brought pa Vanilla Zagu. *laughs* Haven't had Zagu in ages. As soon as he arrived, I also saw the takeout boxes from Superbowl, where we had dinner last night. Then when my parents came home from the baptism and the reception after it, they had food from Conti's. *yumyum* It was catered by Conti's kasi and my Tita made my Mom bring a lot of food home. Yay for me, huh? I ate that for dinner--the food my tita made Mom bring home. Then my parents went pala to PriceSmart, and my didn't text me! She should've gotten my Reese's! Gah. She did bring home two panties with stars on them--they're SO CUTE! Ü Wehehe. She got them in BF after the baptism. Nyahahaha. I want to watch TREASURE PLANET! I didn't know it was Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the voice of the main character. I can't wait to see it, as well as Two Week's Notice. Ooh, The Ring is showing in G4, we saw it last night. We better watch it soon. I'm sure it'll scare the hell out of me. Ako pa.
Going back to work on the analysis about Judiciary and the States. Blegh.
1:10 pm.
I woke up an hour ago. Eeek. Nabawi rin yung kulang na tulog this whole week. I missed seeing that video of Asereje
on MYX featuring kids and dancing tomatoes. Ü Haha, Sarah sent the text telling me about it early kasi.Hmm. I'm supposed to
go back to the studio to finish editing, but I can't leave the house! As usual the driver is with my grandma, and my parents went
to someone's baptism.
I'm hungry! The cafe nearby is out of sinigang so I don't know where my brother went to get lunch. We're so tamad to cook today. I also just checked and I need to replenish my supply of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups soon! *hint, hint* I'm super addicted to them now. Have you seen the new advertisements of Anonymous? I like the concept. Ü Okay, I'm going to immerse myself in reading this set of handouts for POLIGOV, which is something about the Philippines going towards a federal republic. Confused? Well POLIGOV is the one class I really like, but we have to read a lot. Gah. We have to do an analysis paper for the handout I mentioned. Kirsten, Chel & I divided the articles already but we can't just read it per se, but read it. Urk. After immersing myself with politics (a field I never want to get myself into) I have to fix my research paper for ENGLART. Note to self: have it binded with a black cover. After that, STUDY! I'm hungry, where is my brother?! I get cranky when I'm hungry, isn't that weird? So it's always FEED ME, or something.Ü *thinks* Birthday dilemma. I have five people who are definitely invited, but then I'm having trouble with the rest of the list. Urk. If I had it my way I'd just celebrate with the five people, because this is giving me a headache. If I invite my barkada from high school they might bring their boyfriends? If I invite some more blockmates, I'd have to invite their friends? ARGH! I don't want to have different celebrations for different groups of people naman cos I'm so tamad to celebrate. Decisions, decisions. Maybe I'll just give my blockmates something the day before my birthday, cos I don't think we need to go to school on the 13th anyway. Yeah, maybe. That leaves me with the barkada, but what if they don't get along with the five people? Hmmm. Also, I got an e-mail from Cox and she said they decided we won't give each other gifts this year, and she'll tell me about something we'll do for Christmas next year. Nyek, ang tagal pa! I haven't gotten them gifts yet--hey there's your answer! Then we'll have our barkada dinner on the 20th. Eep, that's the day of course card distribution, I wonder if I'm going to be allowed to go out? I can predict what my grades will be already. Basta a bunch of us are planning to go together during course adjustment--those taking ALGE101 again. Wehehe.
Food, I need food. NOW. Ü
2:57 am.
Sort of new layout up. Sort of because this was all I could do right now. I just rearranged the content. Nyek.
Anyway I think sleep is finally hitting me so I think I'll blog later.
Hmpf. Maybe not. I spent most of today, or rather yesterday in Makati. I met up with Kirsten and Anna at noon because we had to edit our film for RELSONE. We had lunch at kenny first, and plans changed so we ended up going to this studio in Makati that Anna's uncle owns. They had an editing place as well, and she got her cousin to agree to edit our film. OMIGOD! When we went in one of the rooms in the office, I saw a Power Mac G4 (is that even correct?) with a HUGE flat monitor. My jaw literally dropped and I was so hyper. Hahaa. I took a picture of me with it--sheeeyet I am so weird!. Geez. It's not everyday I see that kind of Mac. It's even sort of better than that white Mac with the movable monitor thing ages ago. Anyway, bottom line is we haven't finished editing yet and it was so sad when we had to leave the office (goodbye beautiful Mac), but we're going back tomorrow I think.Ü I met up with my parents in G4 after. I'm so pooped. I started reading the stuff for POLIGOV, and I think aside from editing our film I'm staying home this weekend. So many things to submit, and four finals to study for pa! Two on Wednesday, two on Thursday then we're done. Oh, earlier I sent an e-mail to my friends, then a few minutes after sending I got a text from Kat, my ka-barkada who moved to Canada a few months ago. Turns out she was online so we sort of texted each other for a bit, but I had to stop because sending SMS overseas can be expensive. I felt sort of sad, actually. We haven't been able to "talk" for months, and then we're texting, and then she told me that she heard Candy was leaving for the States (for good?) in december...December na kaya?! I didn't know. Why is everyone leaving? Leaving me? *sighs* I know the situation in Manila is quite hard and all, I still feel lucky my family is able to survive, but I can't help but feel sad. My Mom told me once if I wanted to work abroad after I graduate she would fully support me, because aside from the fact it's not so good in the country, she wants me to be able to travel. Nevertheless, I have this weird feeling. Leaving? Haay. hahaha, Justin Timberlake is on MTV. My friends are so kulit, they keep saying he looks like this guy. Hahaha. Justin! Wahhaha. Oh, Seattle's Best is open na pala in Town, I passed by on my way home. One day I'm going to take a picture, because it's Starbucks and Seattle's Best across each other. Before it was just Starbucks, now it's two coffee places. Both of them were pretty crowded pa. Now I want to go out tomorrow! St. James Bazaar and then fireworks display in Town. *crosses fingers* I need to finish my work early then.
Must make invitations. Hehe. Feel ko gumawa.
Sunday. December 1, 2002
11:05 pm.
Omigash I'm still sick! *laughs* This morning, we went out. I don't know what possessed our family today cos we went to Divisoria, and it was friggin' packed.
Haha, remind me again to avoid going there during the holiday season. Gack! We were there for an hour lang I think, then we went to some mall cos Mom
got some curtains. I stayed in the car--reviewing for Algeb and looking for something in the Bible for RELSONE. Heard mass, then went to Town. We arrived just
in time to see the fireworks display. Yayness. Last year we saw most of the fireworks displays in Alabang and Makati. It was funny cos a lot of cars
stopped by the main road just to see the fireworks. I got a new scientific calculator, since my old gave up on me. It was so embarrassing, cos on on our way
to Powerbooks, my Dad called and while talking to him I slipped on the stairs. Eeek! My brother kept laughing at me, cos a bunch of people saw it. Hahaha!
It's December already--yikes. I'd love to post a longer entry, but I still have some stuff to finish. Our report for Lab is tomorrow, and I still have to print
our acetates and prepare my business attire. Hassle. Oh, they didn't have puto bumbong anymore when I went to Via Mare earlier. Kainis! That's one of
the reasons why we went to Town cos I kept saying I wanted the one from Via Mare. *grumbles*
