10:39 pm.
I'm back from the hospital. My Dad brought me to school this morning--we left late and managed to arrive at 8.10 for my class-- and I was lucky my prof wasn't there yet.
Earlier this afternoon, I asked permission from our PE teacher if I could leave early because I was sick, and he told me to just sit down or go home (cos he thought my ride was
there already). Well, while listening to him give instructions for today's table tennis exercise, I was staring at the basketball hoop and I felt faint. Kinda like when I
half-fainted in Baguio. Eck. I leaned back on the ping pong table and told Kirsten I felt weird. Wahhh! I thought I was going to fall over and they'd have to carry me downstairs
and I wouldn't wake up or something. Eep. I went to the room where they keep the basketballs and other sports equipment cos it was airconditioned, and sat there for a bit. Haaay.
When I felt better I went back to our area and watched my blockmates play. My dad called then and said they were there already, so I told my teacher I was leaving. Kirsten
and Chel offered to go with me (thanks girls,Ü). I was happy when my prof said I don't need to do a make-up for the stuff I missed today cos he didn't think I'd stay. Yayness.
We went to Festi after, went around a bit and had dinner at Cucina Victoria. I had pasta with pomodoro sauce. Yummy, but I finished about 3/4 of it cos I felt woozy. We went to the hospital after, and after asking some basic questions the attending physician (who looked like a better version of Jules Ledesma) asked the nurse to call a MedTech. Gack! They were going to get a blood sample. Now I rarely get sick, and it was my first time to have someone take a blood sample. I kept asking the MedTech if it hurt and all, and my eyes were closed the whole time. Okay, I peeked, but when I saw all that blood, I hurriedly closed my eyes again. The nurse then handed me a small plastic container and told me to pee in it. It was also my first time to pee in a cup like that! Geez. I had to drink half the contents of a water bottle before I felt like peeing. The results came in after about 10 minutes. My blood was fine, but while the bacteria count in my urine was low, I had back pain so the doctor advised me to take this medicine. Now I'm home--thank goodness. By the way, I didn't get to do my speech last Tuesday because we ran out of time. I was so irritated! Imagine, our prof was late so not all of us assigned to present that day weren't able to present. Argh! Now I'm more nasal than ever. The only reason I went to school on Tuesday was the speech and I didn't even have time. *grumbles*
Well, I'm off to sleep before my Dad scolds me again for not resting when I need to. Ü

10:17 pm.
I should be sleeping right now but I spent most of my afternoon sleeping. I'm sick kasi :/ I had a slight fever yesterday, but I drank medicine. Unfortunately I kept
waking up last night--coughing and my throat hurt. Yuck. When I woke up I had fever, a sore throat, a headache and my legs were feeling woozy. I couldn't skip school though
because in most of my classes, we will be given plus points if we have perfect attendance. Besides, I couldn't really afford to miss Algebra. I was feeling woozy talaga though.
Anyway I sat in during my blockmates' GENPSYC class because a hypnotist was coming for a workshop. I don't take GENPSYC cos I had to drop it in order to take Algeb again. It wasn't anything
mind-boggling, because he just put the volunteers in a light trance and he only made them move their arms up. Haha. It was funny and interesting. We had Bio next and I swear, our prof there
is so boring because she talks so slow. Argh. I thought we were having a quiz so I stayed, but we didn't have one so I spent the period sleeping.
Nyargh. As soon as I got home, I heated some spaghetti and had lunch while watching Interview with the Vampire on HBO and then fell asleep on the couch. When my Mom got home I moved to the bedroom and slept until about 5:30 when our manicurista arrived. I was scheduled to have a manicure/pedicure but then ended up not getting any nail polish on my nails. They're just clean. I also just did my speech today for tomorrow. Eep. I was able to buy my "business attire", which isn't too business attire-ish, but I'm worried I might stain my pants tomorrow, they're khaki. Eep. I hope not. Guys wish me luck in my speech tomorrow. We get videotaped for the speech, and since I'm sick I might look weird. I hope not. *crosses fingers* By the way, my speech is about digital cameras.
Ooh, my dad just bought this and it's cool!Ü I'll go tinker it tomorrow,
cos my parents are telling me to sleep already.

I was loading my brushes last night in Photoshop, and then I found that I had a Josh Hartnett brush set, so I tinkered with it and found a brush with a pic
from him in Pearl Harbor. Earlier this week it was shown on Star Movies--major eye candy!Ü As usual, it's pretty simple. I like my layouts to be simple.
You can navigate by clicking on the words on top of Josh's head.
I think we're off to Makati later. I still have to buy a new top for my speech. Nothing in my closet is business attire worthy. Eck.

7:41 pm.
Yikes I ate SO much this weekend. Last night we had dinner at Dampa (haha, if you don't know where that is you're missing out on a lot of good food!) as a second part
of my ninong's birthday. My Dad kept counting how many servings of each viand I was getting. Hahaha! Then today after hearing Mass we went off to Orchard (Golf and Country Club).
It was getting cloudy and I was worried it would rain. We've been planning to go to Orchard for a couple of weeks but the weather wouldn't cooperate. Anyway we did push through with the
trip and we went swimming. The water was cold! Meego jumped in the big pool with me and I could feel him shivering so he went back to the kiddie pool. We had late lunch by the
area overlooking the last hole of the golf course, and I ate so much again! I can't help it. If the food is good and I'm hungry, what else is there to do but eat?Ü When we left I realized
my Mom bought pala doughtnuts from the bakery there, and they were YUMMY! It wasn't a regular doughnut. Haha, try it if you can.
See I'm always talking about food maybe I should turn this into a food journal of some sort. Hmm. same thing that was bugging me in my post last January 11. kainis! I finished Ben Singkol and I'm rereading it now just to make sure I have all the important stuff down. Wow. I think the paper for it won't be due until the end of the term, but I bet I'll be busy then so I'm doing the paper after I reread it. Full moon. It's right outside my window. Is it mocking me? Staring at me? Ha.
So many things coming up, I'm excited. The ABS-CBN Studio Tour c/o our org, Stephen Speaks concert, Boyz II Men and I think we'll be staying at the Makati Shangri-La again on V-Day weekend.
Yayness. Ooh! I want to watch Paolo Santos! Finally he'll be having a show "near" me, at Dish on the 26th at 9.30 pm.

9:50 pm.
I'm posting this for Sarah.Ü Eye candy huh? Something to look at over the weekend while you dream about Cap Guy. Enjoy!Ü
Legolas! Hehe. It's Legolas galore again, although Faramir was cute too--just a bit more rugged. Well this week has been so fast, as usual, but when did weeks in DLSU become slow? I loved our long break today cos we just spent some time at our usual place. Hehe. We wanted to lie down nga but our place isn't really a place where you can lie down.*shrugs* Still a prime spot though. We love it. Although only 3 of us were left there today--me, Chel and Sarah we just did some school stuff, talked about some people..and got some rest. Bio lab isn't bad at all. I haven't used a microscope since Sophomore year. Haha. It's exciting when you see all those specimens under the microscope. Next week we make yogurt. I don't know what flavor our group is going to make just yet, but we have a whole week to decide. I'm SLEEPY! What a way to spend Friday night, huh? At home. Tomorrow we're supposed to go out after NSTP, but then I decided not to go with my friends na lang cos good movies are going to be shown next week, I can't wait! One Hour Photo is finally out--yayness; The Hot Chick (although I think the girls saw it already?) and some other movies. I wanna see Catch Me If You Can also. Wahh, movie fest! We need money for BOYZ II MEN tickets! I swear I was so excited when Shawn Stockman was being interviewed on 89.9 Imagine them coming here? They're practically the group. Hahaha.
I better go back to reading Ben Singkol for Lit class (we're required to read it for a term paper to be submitted at the end of the term, I think). It's good so far.
Somehow I enjoy reading those novels since I rarely get to choose good Filipino novels by myself. I'm bored I'm watching Lizzie McGuire (I'm not sure how she spells her
last name). Ha.

12:23 pm.
And the paranoia kicks in.
I love posting entries here, and it's never really been a problem. I didn't care who read this, as long as if they knew me offline, they wouldn't really talk about my posts. However, I got a sudden rush of paranoia, which is weird because I also have Livejournal--most of the entries are for Friends-Only so all my not-so-secret thoughts are still private. Let's see. I was looking forward to the new term. Things seemed to be going great--professors seem nice, schedule isn't so bad although it's not perfect for me-- but then Thursday came and then things started happening. Haaaay. I thought I was happy. Now I don't know what makes me happy because I'm getting this feeling that some things will be a burden. I can't really rant about it here, so I'll move it to LJ. Actually it's not a major problem, but it's bugging me and I don't like it. Just ever get the feeling that you're not supposed to be there so you just want to stay away but then you think about how some people are supposed to be your friends or something like that. Who ever said life was easy? I think I need a hug. Where is Meego when I need a big hug? :\ On another note, I got my tickets reserved for Stephen Speaks, for school and for Rockwell. I'm excited. Tickets are sold out for the Feb 7 show, but I guess it's not such a big deal because I don't know how I would go there. Katipunan's a bit far from my house. And then Boyz II Men in Manila on Valentine's Day, what else is better than that?! I was really surprised when I saw it was confirmed, imagine those guys here?! Wow. I know I should stop feeling bad, with all the good things happening, but I can't shake it off. Pfft. Movies to watch: LOTR:The Two Towers with Vida on Monday, Catch Me If You Can (looks interesting and reviews have been good) and Gangs of New York. Whoa! I just saw the trailer for The Hulk and Terminator 3! Then the trailer for Matrix Reloaded. Hahaha. I can't wait to watch. I wanna see those movies for sure. I read somewhere 2003 is the year for sequels and all those other movies. I'm not complaining!
Must log off. I have to be in Zobel at 4, to help out with an activity for SI. Special request! hahaha. Kidding.

9:49 pm.
Haven't blogged for a couple of days. The first day of the term was fine. Algeb class seemed okay, cos the prof seemed nice (notice I'm using "seemed" a lot?)
and most of us in the class were not first time takers of Algebra. We have a classmate straight from Germany. Hehe! Hmm. I think having cute notebooks is helping
me stay interested with my classes. I should've done that waaaaay back. Argh. This is a boring post.
Happy today though cos I saw one of my many crushes, and he said hi. Whee, one happy girl. Useless post! I apologize, my head is swimming with historical information
cos I just read a chapter for PHILHIS tomorrow. Our prof reminds me of John Rzeznik--he really does look like him without the hair color and rocker look. Hehe!
Sunday. January 5, 2003
10:45 pm.
I must sleep! I have an 8am class tomorrow. I'll just upload this and fix my stuff.
Went to Makati today with the family and my lola. We ended up shopping for shoes, cos my lola was looking for a red pair. I got myself two pairs. After shopping I was carrying too many shopping bags--full of shoes! We decided to have merienda at Mangan and I was so stuffed! Went around for a bit after eating, but didn't find any clothes I liked. Ngark. No new stuff. Ooh, I did see Tingting Cojuangco and her daughter MaiMai shopping for shoes in Rustan's as well. Hehe. The third term begins tomorrow, and I have Algeb first thing tomorrow. I don't want to rant about it anymore, so my mindset right now is that I love algebra. I will try (even more) to pass this subject. I don't want to take it another time. I just hope I won't get the same prof, cos if I do, my friend and I will drop it. Gack. Say it with me, please. I love algebra.I love algebra. I hope this helps. Okay, I'll upload this and sleep. (I don't think I can sleep...)
Plugs: Vida has a new layout, Nadia's new layout
made me senti and Macy's revamp is just lovely.

11:10 pm.
Hmm. I posted a bunch of random pics.
I also enrolled yesterday, after course adjustment. *hangs head in shame* Since a bunch of us have to take Algeb again, we had to go to school and get our schedules adjusted. Since we were given a full load, we had to drop a subject in order to accommodate Algeb. There were only two schedules available, one for 7am-8am, and one for 8.10am-9.10am. It's a good thing we got into the 8.10 class, but then it's still tiring a pain because it's an early class. See? This is why I should never fail another subject again. I get punished. I also enrolled after adjustment, and then met up with Kirsten and Chel. We went off to Makati to pick up some stuff, and then proceeded to G4 to watch the 2.45 screening of Dekada '70. I'm glad I was able to read the book during my Senior year in high school, because it helped me with the flow of the story. I do want to read it again.Ü It really helps to read the book first before watching the film when it comes to books-turned-into-movies. Well, that's just my opinion, because it'll give you a background on the characters. The common comparison is that the book is better than the film, which I think is so only because the books are usually detailed. Movies cannot show every little detail and thought of a character, so the story is usually compressed into an hour or two's worth of film. I just saw ABS-CBN's plug for their teleseryes and I realized how long I haven't seen any of those. I followed the last 9 months of Pangako SaYo religiously though.Ü Hehe! Really. It's actually nice to watch teleseryes when they're about to end because that's when all the good stuff comes up. Besides, if you miss most of it you can ask probably the household helpers? We don't have any so I usually ask our manicurista. Hehe! Ü
I sort of went back to school shopping today. I bought a bunch of new pens, a yellow pad, two mechanical pencils, a cute mini stapler from Maped and a new correction tape.
What a haul, huh? I'm still hoping to go shopping tomorrow for some new clothes. *crosses fingers* Also, if granted, a new camera. I've decided to wait until March for my new
phone, so I won't have to pay for it. Speaking of phones, my Dad let me use his other SIM cos my own line (post-paid) went over the limit. Eep. He's not letting me use my own
line until he finishes paying for it. Oh well. His extra SIM is also post-paid, so I'm not complaining.
1:13 am.
Here's my lame attempt for a new layout. I couldn't find a copy of Adobe Photoshop 7.0, I think there's already an 8.0 out? I
couldn't load my newly downloaded brushes. It's weird, cos it's a new year, and then I use old colors, an old concept for a
layout. Hmm. It just works for me I guess. Today (well, yesterday) was extremely busy for me. I was up at around 6:30 am,
and I haven't slept since. Details tomorrow (okay that means later today), I am really tired.
Only the blog is up, so if you want to leave a message, you can always use the comments thing found after each entry. Okai?
